LIINAI MARGARET

Executive Director

Margaret holds a MA in Social Work degree with specialization in Livelihood and Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She is a key resource person in taking up multidimensional tasks for MOSONiE SEF.  She has been working for the socio economic upliftment of the rural people in the remote villages of Meghalaya, organizing and coordinating training programmes for clean energy, health and sanitation, organic farming and livestock. Margaret is Passionate about helping marginalized  communities.

RINGBILA PUNGDING

Program Manager

Ringbila holds a MA in Social Work degree with specialization in Livelihood and Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Associated with MOSONiE SEF since 2015, Ringbila takes care of the organization's  legalities, accounts, networking and programs. Ringbila is passionate about serving the under-served communities and is a believer in participatory processes, collaborative learning and in empowering communities to bring about positive change and transformation.

RINLAN PHUNGTHER

HR Manager

Rinlan holds a Masters in Social Work degree with specialization in Family and Child Welfare from Assam Don Bosco University. She has been a key person for the organisation in taking up of new ventures. It’s her passion to work  with marginalized and disadvantages community for their sustainability. Her motivation towards the society for upliftment of the living standards of the people in the villages helped in the mobilization and establishment of the Non-Conventional Practical Education (NCPE) School. She also looks after the management of the organisation besides organizing awareness campaigns and capacity building programmes.

PANII SAVITRI SALOME

Project Coordinator

Savitri holds a Master in Social Work with specialization in Medical and Psychiatry from Bosco Institute. She works massively on social upliftment and women empowerment and mobilizing resources for Capacity building training and awareness programmes on Clean and sustainable energy, and takes care of the project implementation on ground.

Documentation Officer

Vungngaihlian holds a Post Graduate Degree in Social Work with specialization in Medical and Psychiatry from Assam Don Bosco University. She is goal oriented professional practitioner with 8 years diverse exposure and experience working for the rural and marginalized communities through advocacy and engaged in promotion of Education, Health, Environment and Sustainable livelihoods practices. She previously worked with at-risk orphan children who are infected and affected with HIV/AIDS and are vulnerable at Ferrando Integrated Women Development Center (Peace Home) Aizawl.

DR. KRISHNA SHARMA

Director and Member

Dr. Krishna Sharma, completed his PhD with the study on “Development of Cell Culture Vaccine from a locally isolated Duck Plague Virus Strain” from College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agriculture University. He was the Co-Investigator of the Scheme “Production of Vaccine from Locally Isolated Strain of Duck Plague Virus”. (1985-1988) sponsored by ASTEC, Assam and Co-Investigator of the Scheme “Antigenic and Immunologic Characterization of A Locally Isolated Strain of Duck Plague Virus” (1992-1996)- Sponsored by ICAR, New Delhi. He was also the Principal Co-Investigator “Weather based Animal Disease Forecasting” (2001-2004) NATP, Sponsored by ICAR, New Delhi.
He was a retired Officer- in Charge Cum Virologist, AICRP on FMD Regional Research Centre, AAU, Guwahati. Khanapara, Guwahati-22, Assam.  He was also FDA fellowship (Junior) during M.V.Sc.(1980-1982) and Sr. Research Fellow of CSIR for PhD (1988-1991).  He has Twenty 29 years’ experience in teaching UG & PG courses of Microbiology including VLD-412 & VLD-422.

Vareena completed Masters in Social Work (M&P) in 2015 from Assam Don Bosco University. In her 7 years of working experience, she has had considerable experience in the health, government and non-government systems giving her varied skills and the ability to work with many different types of stakeholders and departments, internally and externally, from grassroots levels to the highest levels. She had worked as a College Counsellor, Special Educator, Surveyor and as an ICTC Counsellor. During the COVID pandemic, Vareena was deputed to Corona Care Centres (MATI, NIFT and TBH) and worked as a core team member of Administration and currently working as a Programme Associate in PRIME MEGHALAYA, promoting entrepreneurship and supporting local entrepreneurs. She is passionate about serving in the health sector and is always open to collaborate in activities/health interventions that ensure people get the best of health facilities to lead a healthy and productive life.

Augustine Ngatuba has over 10 years of work experience in the field of Education and Youth Development. A commerce graduate with Masters in Youth Development from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development and UGC Net in Social Work. A certified Life Skills Trainer. He was an Indian Youth Delegate to South Korea in 2011 under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Govt. of India. Currently he is the Sr. Program Manager of Quest Alliance who also oversee Quest Alliance program in the Northeast region apart from managing various projects implemented across the country.

JYOTISHMOY DEKA

M.A.S.W. (Livelihood and Social Entrepreneurship), B.B.A. Jyotishmoy Deka is part of TRIF’s PPIA team. After completing a Masters in Social Work with specialization in Livelihood and Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Jyotishmoy has been working in the development sector for around 8 years in various capacities and has a mix of NGO, corporate and government engagement experience. He has been engaged in research, impact assessment and M&E, managing CSR engagements, project planning and implementation. He is passionate about working towards improving health and nutrition, education, sustainable livelihood opportunities and the capacity of individuals to have the knowledge and resources to fulfill their potential.

Athisa Sapriina completed her Master of Social Work specializing in Human Resource from St. Aloysius College Autonomous Mangalore. After completing her Masters she worked with Infosys, Bangalore as Human Resource Outsourcing and now currently working in Japan as English Instructor at Board of Education Sagamihara, Kanagawa.
